Google Pages

Google Labs has just launched its free 100 MB pages creator. It appears to be more versatile and has a more user-friendly interface than other applications of this kind.

Various Freeware and Shareware

As I was wandering the web I happened across several bits of freeware and shareware that are not directly related to psychology but are useful in the areas of general computing, security, and program downloads and updates. I also saw the IE7 Beta2, downloaded it and tried it. It is not yet ready for prime time. Somehow it corrupted the ActiveX tool that uploads and displays pictures in MSN Spaces. It will quite likely integrate with all the other modifications that Microsoft is making in preparation for Vista and the new Office version, but has problems with current software.

Microsoft Spaces Blog Content

With all the recent news about Google restricting its’ search capabilities depending upon country, it was with some interest that I ran across this article in IT VIBE this morning.

“Microsoft outlines policy for dealing with government restrictions on blog content.”
